OnRecord helps co-parents communicate in a structured, export-friendly way. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and your choices. OnRecord is not a law firm; consult an attorney for legal advice about your case.
Information we collect
Account: email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), and display name you choose. Case data: family or case name, invite codes, messages you send, calendar events, expenses, and related metadata (for example timestamps). Device: we may receive basic diagnostics from Apple or our backend when something fails, so we can fix bugs.
How we use information
We use your data to run the service: sign you in, sync your case with your co-parent, show realtime updates, and generate PDF exports you request. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your messages to train third-party AI models.
Where data is stored
Data is processed and stored using Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL and related services). Infrastructure may be located in regions our provider selects; see their documentation for current locations and subprocessors.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and case data while your account exists and as needed to operate the product. If you delete your account, we remove your membership and authentication record in line with our backend configuration; some records tied to a shared case (for example messages or expenses) may remain visible to your co-parent so both parties retain a consistent history. You can request additional help through support.
Children
OnRecord is intended for adults managing co-parenting. Do not ask children to create accounts. If you believe we have collected a child's personal information in error, contact us.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal data. Contact us at support@onrecord.app for privacy-related requests. We will respond within a reasonable time.
